Thornden Park is a 76-acre park maintained by the Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Programs. It is located in Syracuse's "university area," bounded by Ostrom Ave., Madison St. and South Beech St. Houses on Greenwood Place and Clarendon St. back up on the park. |

| Permit: | | Printable Permit Application This space must be reserved through the City's Department of Parks, Recreation & Youth Programs. The number is 315.473.4330. Your photographer may be willing to obtain the permit for you, discuss when planning. Some areas can be reserved for ceremonies as well. |

| Other Notes: | | Check their website for events schedule. The park can be packed and hard to get through during some activities such as Pop Warner football games. The Lily Pond & Amphitheatre have power sources available for an additional $20 charge. |
